I am a lively, empathic, and ambitious designer that enjoys making and creating things with a positive impact on humans and nature.
Born in California and raised in Germany I experienced different cultures and people early on, which gave me an openness and curiosity for the world. I like to explore new countries through random food testings – which may or may not succeed at times. ;) Also, I believe jogging is a sightseeing method.
Growing up in the countryside and working with natural materials in arts and crafts, gave me a deep appreciation for the natural world. I am part of the UID Climate Group and in my free time can be found outdoors, sewing clothes, or recharging through dance, music, or reading.
In my latest design works, I have been exploring ways to integrate sustainable thinking into my solutions, even while working on tight briefs and in collaboration with companies. At the moment I am working on exploring how products and services could be designed for a circular economy in my master thesis.
